One year....
One year ago tonight I was promising to love and cherish my best friend for the rest of my life. We exchanged rings (I couldn't get his ring on his hand), vows, many kisses, wedding cake, and a dance. We had officially entered into the covenant of marriage. After many laughs, tears, hugs and kisses....we have officially made it one year! Many people say that the first year of marriage is often the hardest. While the last year has definitely been difficult, it has also been the most joyous year of my life. I have been given an incredible gift, I get to spend every day with my best friend!!
Matthew, you have taught me so much this past year. I had no idea how incredibly selfish I am, nor did I know that it was possible to love someone as much as I love you. This has been the most challenging and rewarding year of my life! You have continually showed me the true love of Christ and for that I am eternally grateful. Wherever God takes us in life, one thing is for certain, He has blessed us! I love you more today than I did a year ago and can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you!
